About our aroma therapy at Diamond Wellness Spa
Aroma therapy massage combines soft, rhythmic massage with essential oils blended into the massage oil. The scent is part of the experience: as the therapist works, the aroma fills the room and gives the session a distinctly calm, cocooned quality.
At our Secunderabad spa, aroma therapy is a favourite with guests who find firm pressure too intense and prefer something soothing. The pace is unhurried, the strokes are long and even, and the focus is on helping you unwind.
What to expect from an aroma therapy session
- Gentle to medium pressure. The massage is designed to relax rather than to work deeply into muscles.
- Aromatic oils. Essential oils are blended into a carrier oil before use. Ask your therapist which aromas are available on the day.
- Long, flowing strokes. Expect a steady rhythm across the back, shoulders, arms and legs.
- A calm room. Low light and quiet help the scent and touch work together.
A note on fragrance sensitivity
If you have asthma, migraines triggered by strong smells, sensitive skin or any known allergy, tell us before the session. Essential oils are strongly scented and not every aroma suits everyone. If you would prefer an unscented treatment, our Swedish massage offers a similar relaxing rhythm without the fragrance focus. If you are pregnant, please mention it when booking.
Preparation and comfort tips
- Let us know about allergies, skin sensitivity, pregnancy or fragrance-triggered headaches before we begin.
- Avoid wearing strong perfume to your appointment so the oils come through clearly.
- Give yourself a few quiet minutes afterwards — many guests feel pleasantly drowsy.
